Self Improvement Advice

In this latest article of mine I show how you can benefit from self-improvement advice to make more of your life and succeed when you thought it was impossible.

If only self improvement advice was freely given and available everywhere, there would be no problem regarding life, happiness and success. But this is life and it doesn’t seem to work that way.

What would you do if you were trapped in an environment that you did not want to be in? What if you are sick and tired of your job?

Is there anything we can do to solve this problem?

1. Learn to love your current situation.

2. Balance is the key.

3. Stay humble.

4. Are you ready to begin the journey?

Read what all this means in the rest of this article at Self Improvement Advice then come back and leave me a comment please.

Positive Thinking is a Bunch of Crap

and Crap Makes Great Fertilizer

“A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.”

Herm Albright

At some point in your life, you’ve probably heard about the power of positive thinking. Basically, this is a theory that contends if you believe good things will happen to you, there will be some sort of cataclysmic shift in the energies surrounding you which will actually cause good things to happen to you. For as many people who believe in the power of positive thinking, there are many more who believe it’s all a bunch of New Age pop psychology drivel or sugar-coated Peter Pan platitudes.

Here’s the kicker: they’re all right.

You see, positive thinking is a system of beliefs. So if you believe it doesn’t work- then, of course, it won’t work. And if you believe it does work…well, you get the idea. For non-believers, using positive thinking is like trying to get a job after high school. You need experience to get a job, but you need a job to get the experience.

It can be difficult to know where you’re supposed to start. But just like any other process, the key to making positive thinking work for you is to start small. Plant seeds, if you will, and then learn how to tend and cultivate those seeds until you have a mental garden that bears a phenomenal crop, year after year.

Anything is possible with positive thinking…even if you do believe it’s all a bunch of crap.

An Optimistic Point Of View For Longer Life

By Peter Fisher

If you want to live longer, be healthier and be happy with your life you could do worse than trying to develop an optimistic point of view. It doesn’t come naturally or easily to around 30% of the population – this many being inherently pessimistic in outlook.

Frederick Langbridge, in writing his ‘A Cluster of Quiet Thoughts’ described how two people can share the same view but see different things:

“Two men look out through the same bars: One sees the mud and one sees the stars” also known as the glass half-full or half-empty principle.

In other words, you have two choices: you can either look up or you can look down. The optimist will see and describe the beauty of the stars overhead, whilst the pessimist will see the dirt and rock-strewn path underfoot.

In life, you are always given choices. If you take a pessimist’s view you risk living a self-defeated life. Decide to take the optimistic point of view and you can create a challenging and fulfilling future for yourself.

OK what’s so good about an optimistic point of view? And why should I want to change anyhow?

Improve Your Self Esteem

Become determined to improve your self esteem and you will be on your way to greater achievement and personal success. Low self esteem can actually ruin your life. The way you think about yourself ultimately determines how you interact with others.

If you find yourself thinking or feeling any of the following 6 phrases then you may be afflicted with low self-esteem:

1. Nothing you do seems to go right.

2. You believe that most people do not like you.

3. You believe that you are not attractive.

4. You choose something and it turns out to be the worst one.

5. You are afraid to converse with others for fear that what you say might not make sense.

6. You feel swallowed up in a whirlpool of frustration.

But the only things that are wrong with you are your thoughts, actually.

Stop thinking that the world is closing in on you. Get determined to achieve what you desire. Stop blaming other people for your misfortunes. The world is not your problem; you are your own problem.
